A poetic and embroidered imagining of the unacknowledged characteristics of principal female fairy tale characters, building upon my previous work embroidering dusters. With reference to fairy tale tropes and well-know phrases, these dolls contextualize the archetypal roles of women that are presented within these tales. The simple mummified doll forms and use of the duster also represent the confinement of women within domestic roles over the centuries.
